The Stone Goat Restaurant & Brewery (“we”, “us”) runs The GOAT Club, our text club for offers, specials and events. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what we will never do with it.
What we collect
- Your mobile number, when you give it to us to join The GOAT Club on our sign-up page.
- Your date of birth, when you join, to confirm you are 21 or older. We keep it with the record of your sign-up.
- Nothing else is needed to join. If you contact us, we keep what you send us so we can reply.
- Ordinary website information — pages visited, rough location, device type — when you use our site.
We never ask for payment details to join The GOAT Club.
How we use it
- To text you our offers, specials and events — only because you asked us to.
- To reply when you contact us.
- To understand what our guests like, so we can run a better restaurant.
Text messages and your mobile number
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with anyone.
We text you only if you ticked the box asking us to. Ticking it is how you join The GOAT Club; if you leave it unticked, we do not keep your number and you will hear nothing from us by text.
Reply STOP to any message to stop them for good, or HELP for help. Our Messaging Terms have the detail.
Who else sees it
- Our technology provider. We use a technology provider to run our text club and this website on our behalf. They handle your information only to provide that service to us, and never for their own marketing.
- No one else. We do not sell your information, and we do not rent, trade or pass it to advertisers or data brokers.
- We may disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
For as long as you are a member, and a reasonable period afterwards for our own records. Ask us to delete your information and we will, unless we are required to keep it.
Your choices
- Stop texts: reply STOP to any message, or ask us.
- Leave The GOAT Club, or ask what we hold about you — and ask us to correct or delete it — using the contact details below.
Children
The GOAT Club is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21.
Changes
If we change this policy, the new version appears here with a new date.
